RIP - John Law

John was a past President and Life Member of Te Puke Rifle Club.

He was very active in his shooting days, travelling to many regional and national championships and a very good A grade shooter. He joined the club in the late 1960’s after a bad accident at a paper mill cost him the loss of a leg and curtailed his active sports.

He was a valued club member and participated in most aspects of running the club over his many years of membership and as a retired accountant continued to audit the club books for many years after ill health forced him to discontinue shooting.

He still had a keen interest and enjoyed keeping up to date with all the shooting news via the  NRANZ website even though he could no longer shoot.
