Tui Black Shield - Quadrangular Teams Match
The annual Quadrangular Teams Match between Canterbury, Marlborough and Wellington was shot on the Kaituna Blenheim Rifle Range Sunday 13 May 2012. The weather was a great autumn's day with improved cloud cover making the sighting some-what better than the day before. However, aiming at dark targets was the order of the day and you needed to adapt pretty smartly. A stiff south-westerly breeze at the 600 and 900 yard-line gave the coaches a thorough workout.
Canterbury secured a win at the end of the day, but with only three points separating all three teams Wellington and Marlborough are already looking forward to next year's match. Look out Canterbury.
