2017 National 1000 yard Championship
There were clear skies with interesting wind conditions that fluctuated both in intensity and angles for the 1000 yard national champions this year. 39 competitors braved the winds which at times showed consistency but then “Trenthamed” some of us just when we started to feel comfortable.
Congratulations to Ross Geange for top scoring on the range and taking out A Grade with a 159.10 total. Special mention to Kiriahi McKee who competed in C Grade (while in her first year as a Tyro) winning with a commendable 152.08.
Thank you to all who traveled to compete and to everyone that helped us run the day so smoothly.
