2017 Canterbury Autumn Championship

The Canterbury Autumn meeting was held at the new Ashburton range, with perfect weather conditions and a great turnout from as far as Invercargill and Blenheim.

TR Champion was John Snowden, who also took out the South Island Belt and the combined Spring & Autumn events.

FTR Champion was Dan Swaney and the FO Champion was Chris Brown both from Malvern Rifle Club

A new trophy was presented, the Silver X trophy, which will be awarded each year for examples of excellence, and for this time, the inaugural shoot at the rebuilt range, it was fitting the trophy was presented to all the members of the Ashburton District Rifle Club for all their hard work on the range design and work to get the range ready in time for this event.
