RIP - Roy Larsen

It is with sadness that I report the death of Roy Larsen from Tauranga.

P36928 Major and QM (rtd), RNZAOC, (Roy). On 19 August 2023, at The Avenues Tauranga, Roy passed away peacefully aged 94 years.

Roy was a member of the NRANZ for 70+ years and was a Life Member of the Hamilton Whatawhata Rifle Club.

Roy was in a number of New Zealand and New Zealand Veterans Teams.

Roy and his wife Margaret made their home in a caravan parked at the Provincial Rifle Club for many years while competing at the National Championship.

Our condolences to the Larsen family.  In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Hato Hone St John Ambulance.  A service of celebration for Roy will be held on Saturday 26th August @ 2:00pm at Tauranga Park, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga.
