RIP - Ken Henderson

It is with sadness we report the that Ken Henderson was tragically killed by a falling tree on Wednesday 15 June 2022 while visiting the Chatham Islands.

Ken was my partner in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Pairs event at the 1994 Commonwealth Games, and a National Champion at both Pistol NZ Action Pistol and also a NRANZ F Open competitor.  A talented shooter with both pistol and rifle.

Ken was an adored husband and best mate of Ruth. Cherished son of Rosalie and Peter and brother to his six sisters. Much loved Dad of Kenny, Danny, Garth, Annalise, Bryce, Blaire and Ryan. Kind loving Grandad to his 13 grandchildren.

The service to celebrate Ken's life will be held at the Distinction Hotel Rotorua on Thursday 23rd June at 1pm (entrance at Trigg Road car park).
