RIP - Ian Wright

WRIGHT, Ian David:

Ian Wright passed away on April 2, 2019 peacefully at home in Masterton, aged 89 years.

Devoted husband of Judy. Much loved father and father-in-law of Alison Wright and Ian Sindlen; Jan and Paul McMullen. Loved Poppa of Kate, Jack and Ed.

Ian was a former member and secretary of the Masterton Rifle Club.  He was also the manager of the Olympic shooting team at the Montreal event.  He did lots for the Masterton range and is famous for his quote 'my telephone works both ways' if he hadn't heard what was on he always rang to find out.
