Letter from Normandy Rifle Club
Mister Chairman,
On behalf of the members of the Normandy Rifle Club, French Long Range Rifle Shooting association, and on our personal behalf, at the occasion of the Centenary of the end of the First World War we are please to insure the NRA of Australia and the NRA of New-Zealand that we have a particular and warm thought of gratitude for the thousands of ANZAC who came to France and scarified their youth on the battlefields for our freedom. Many are still lying in earth of La Somme or of Villers-Bretonneux. They have been the tragic ambassadors of the franco-australian and the franco-new zealander friendship. We will never forget them.
Please accept our kind regards.
Philippe Ginestet,
Chevalier dans l'Ordre National du Mérite,
NRC Chairman an NRA of GB Vice-President.
Robert Chombart,
NRC President Fondateur,
NRA of GB Vice-President
