Australia Match - NZ Rifle Team Selection Camps
Australia Match – NZ Rifle Team Selection Camps
Nominations for the NZ Rifle Team Squad will be called at the beginning of September 2025. The Squad is being selected for the Australia Match in Brisbane in October 2026.
Nominees are expected to attend Selection Camps prior to the naming of the final Squad. The first of the planned Selection Camps is to be held at the Cheltenham Rifle Club on 20 and 21 September 2025.
The intention for these Selection Camps is to provide prospective team members the opportunity to demonstrate their form and ability to shoot in a team match environment. A second camp will be held at Trentham in November 2025. Those who are selected will need to be available to be in Australia from 6 October 2026 to 19 October 2026.
The final squad will be announced following the Nationals being held at Trentham in January 2026. Squad training camps will be held thereafter over Waitangi Weekend and King’s Birthday Weekend; both at Trentham.

Please advise both Chris Kershaw (Team Captain) (cjkershaw@gmail.com) and Gavin Riddle (gavin@kirkwoodsadvisory.com) if you will be attending so we can confirm numbers ahead of the time.
