2020 Barnard Championship results
Over 2020 the Barnard Precision Aggregate has been held with entries gained by attending Regional Championships. One entry per day attended which are added to the aggregate and then all entries are put into a draw for 2 prizes of half paid entry to the NZ National Championship and 2 prizes of full paid entry to the NZ National Championship, with 2 years (2022 & 2023) to claim their prizes.
Winners for 2020 are:
- half paid entry, Daniel Alexander from Malvern Rifle Club and John Ball from Te Puke Rifle Club.
- full paid entry, Brian Greystone from Ashburton Rifle Club and Larry Meredith from Otorohanga Rifle Club.
Mark Lane from Otorohanga Rife Club had the top entries with 15 days attended. 800 days were attended throughout the country, thanks to Covid 19 several championships were cancelled, affecting numbers. Numbers attending are up on last season even with Covid 19, 728 last year to 800 this year.
Thanks to Steve and Matt Bartlett from Barnard Precision for their support of the NRANZ and the Clevedon Rifle Club, they are members of both.
Support for Regional Championships is a great experience, a chance to shoot on other club ranges and meet the members that make up the National Rifle Association of NZ.
