2016 Barnard Precision Aggregate report
Over 2016 the Barnard Precision Aggregate has been held with entries gained by attending Regional Championships. One entry per day attended which are added to the aggregate and then all entries are put into a draw for 2 prizes of half paid entry to the NZ National Championship and 2 prizes of full paid entry to the NZ National Championship, with 2 years to claim their prizes.
Winners for 2016 were:
- half paid entry, Paul Neal from Franklin Rifle Club and Geoff Smith from Malvern Rifle Club.
- full paid entry, Ray Salter from Clevedon Rifle Club and Chris Burgress from Kaituna Rrifle Club.
Paul Neal from Franklin Rife Club and Rick Ruiterman from Te Puke Rifle Club had the top entries with 16 days attended. There are a lot of members appearing in the top 20 of the list who have been attending championships for 30 years+.
Thanks to Steve and Matt Bartlett from Barnard Precision for their support of the NRA and the Clevedon Rifle Club, they are members of both.
In 2015 there were 806 Championship days attended by 169 individual members with 2016 having 929 Championship days attended by 178 Individual members. Support for Regional Championships is a great experience, a chance to shoot on other club ranges and meet the members that make up the National Rifle Association.
